Green Zap Bac Spiles

Ran these spiles last year with the hopes of reusing them for the next two years. Having some reservations and second thoughts... I am having a hard time reusing a spout that has been on tubing in the woods all year and looks weathered. Anyone have any thoughts on these using them the 2nd year or more? quantity of sap diminish or not that bad? thinking I should have just stayed with clear seasonal and have the peace of mind knowing its new. I know I am being neurotic.

Unless you damaged the spout, its the silver inside that is the benefit. Bacteria cant grow

I use the zap bac spiles for 3 years unless the spile has fallen on the ground due to tubing damage. I have been using them since there inception and am very satisfied with the spile.
