Maple on the thanksgiving table

Happy thanksgiving.......how do you use Maple for Thanksgiving?

My wife makes a maple and bourbon sauce. Puts maple in the apple pie and in the cranberry sauce.

Many thing on our table have maple in them, Basted the Turkey, in the squash, in the pumpkin pie, on the vegetables. Likely more that I'm not remembering.

I use maple in the orange dressing for the duck and in the sweet potatoes.

Maple pecan pie, and maple Long Island iced tea afterward. Also, a good source of feedback for different experiments... coffee infused syrup in our case. It was a big hit.

Pumpkin pie made with maple sugar, served warm out of the oven with a dollop of whipped cream and maple syrup drizzled over it. Excellent! Ted

I made some maple custard pie. It was a hit.
I also handed out some maple/coffee bean, maple/fir tip, maple/chocolate, maple/pumpkin spice, maple/jalapeno and maple/birch syrups to both sides of the family.

Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts. Not traditional for thanksgiving, but always a favorite.

We tried a Maple Cheesecake this year. The recipe was from Cabot Creamery and can easily be found on line. I followed the recipe, except that I did it in a traditional pie plate - and I added maple crumble on top. It was excellent!

Heavy cream with maple syrup whipped, add to any dessert and coffee. Our cinnamon infused was also used in coffee. Some great ideas.

I don't add the tblsp of flour. Substitute sugar with maple sugar.
