Insulated fire brick

I'm not familiar with that product. Sounds interesting but I have doubts it would hold up in the firebox on a wood fired evaporator. It should do well under the flue pan.

I watched a couple videos about insulated fire brick and they perform a little better the regular fire brick but dont come close to insulation like ceramic blanket. I got the impression your way better off with the blanket.
