I am looking into purchasing a Leader Micro2 before the end of preseason order sale. I will be running 250 taps all yard. fence row trees.
What concerns or feed back should I be aware of before buying one?
Thanks
I used a Micro2 this season. For 250 taps on medium vac it was fine. If your taps are not on vac I would go with the single membrane unit. Unless you can store sap for a couple days to get enough to be able to wash and rinse properly. The best I could do on cold sap was 180 gallons processed per hour splitting it 50/50 (with 1.8-2% sap). I also toyed with the idea of plumbing it so on low sap flow days I could use it as a single membrane, and then use it as a 2 membrane unit on good flow days. For a beginner unit is does its purpose. For someone like me that has had a "professional" unit in the past, with recirculation and all the bells and whistles, it seemed a bit primitive. For the price you cannot beat it though.

I am looking to purchase so I can boil at a higher concentration in turn hopefully allowing me to collect more sap. Only selling syrup.

No just raw sap. It will be for sale.
