I ran preservative through my ro. Should I drain it or just let it be like it is.

Don't drain it, you don't want to let the membrane dry out.

What kind of preservative are you using for storing in the machine? Thanks.

I don't know what KReinisch uses but I use Leader's membrane preservative. I just close the needle valves to hold it in the membranes, and I rinse out the wash tank. Then keep the RO from freezing.

It's generally a 1 weight % solution of sodium metabisulfite in water.

I use a solution that calls for 1 cup of solutions for 5 gallons of water. So I mixed up 10 gallons and let it circulate through the ro for a bit.
