Ron will pull the taps. We had snow yesterday. It's 42 degrees right now at 12:30. Not anything happening. I guess this is it. Syrup this year at least has color and flavor. I threw down compost last year and we had the trees trimmed. Still hard to get used to 3 after having more than we could count.

As long as you can enjoy it, all is well. I'm still going, pumps running all night, but with the warm weather in the forecast I think Sunday or Monday might be the end. Each day I need to boil fast to make syrup before it spoils. Tomorrow I will have 69 F according to the forecast. No freeze until maybe Wednesday morning (32 F forecast), more likely Thursday morning (26 F forecast). Then warm days but a freeze or near freeze every 2-3 days. Time will tell. I still need more Dark syrup to meet my sales. However in total I'm getting close to .4 gal/tap, last year I had .52 gal/tap.
