Well I sent out a pint and a quart from Massachusetts to Wisconsin and Iowa today! If you want to try some Massachusetts sweet syrup I've got a couple more pints to trade.

Here's some tips if your thinking of sending out your own via USPS. I sent it priority mail and it was around 12 bucks. Other then the normal bubble wrap or whatever you're going to use to protect the bottles add a ziplock bag around the bottle. Also they requested that on the outside of the box it be clearly written "maple syrup" just in case it does leak and they need to clean it up.

If your looking to swap with me my email is jimskalajim@gmail.com https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190405/6a29713974c059f42350d69c2cf3a7a9.jpg

I'm impressed by the effort you put into your packaging... That's awesome... You will be very busy with the artwork if you start marketing through Amazon.

Back when I first started shipping maple syrup , both FedEx and USPS I labeled it Maple Syrup. It seems the percentage of opened packages and missing syrup rose considerably. I then quit labeling it maple syrup and the times a package was missing some of the contents dropped big time. I now ship about half of my product and I only get 1 or 2 claims I need to file a year, it used to be 10-15 claims when I marked it as maple syrup.

Hey Jim,
I opened a jar last night after supper. Very good. I think it tasted a little more like Vanilla than I had ever experienced. Also I think mine has a hint of smoke flavor. I'm looking forward to opening the next in a few weeks.
Thanks again, great idea.
