I have an older D & G 7" 7 bank aluminum gear driven (Oberdorfer) filter pump that I am thinking of converting to air diaghram (?) pump for next season. What kind of pump would I need and where can you source one and what would approx. cost be?
Thanks,

I bought mine from Zoro, it is an ARO. A small pancake compressor is enough to run it. Just make sure it is good for 200F or more. On mine I heat the syrup to 205-210 F but I believe by the time I draw in into my mixing tank it is slightly below 200 F but I never checked. My pump is a 3/8" inlet and outlet, it works very well. You will like it a lot better than the gear pump.
