Spout Lip for Buckets

Does anyone that uses buckets know the lip size/height of the IPL 19/64" Stainless Health Spout???

How does the lip size compare to the lip of the 5/16" Leader hookless aluminum spout for buckets???

We are trying to go to the spout that buckets will stay on better on high wind days.

What I would suggest is to get sone old inner tube, cut to make rubber bands, and some twine. With the bucket in place run the twine around the tree and bucket and connect each end to the inner tube band to hold the bucket in place. To dump it just slide the band out of the way and lift the bucket off to dump. It does take a little longer to dump but you do not loose the buckets and sap in high winds. Only do this in areas where winds call for it, if you are in the woods this is not needed.
