I have a roto flow rotary vane pump from our old soda system (carbonator and pump). It is a lower cost procon. It is a 1.7 gpm but will do 2.7 gpm, rated for 200psi max. Has a built in strainer and pressure relief valve. It is on a 1725 rpm, 110 volt, 7.0 amp 1/3 HP motor. https://www.dultmeier.com/products/search/8887#.

Is this pump too small for say a 40 to 100 gallon per hour RO build? Or should I just use it as a sap transfer pump to say my preheater or some other project that I have not thought of yet.?
I will obviously remove the actual carbonator as I only need the pump and motor. I could make carbonated maple syrup with it. lol

Any thoughts?

This pump will definitely work for and entry level RO build I would save it.
