Running 5/16 lines this year to a shurflo 4008. I have two lines off a 1/2 inch header. Seems like my one line drains quickly and has little sap build up at the manifold and the other has a lot. If I plug the fast running side then I get better flow on the congested side.
Anyone running valves to equalize flow on individual lines and would this help?

I'd be willing to bet that the line you say is draining quickly actually has a leak... Then when you shut that line off the other one flows better because it's getting more vacuum because the leak is closed off. I'd search that line first for any leaks.

Another thought, how many taps do you have on each, are they similar quantity?

The slower line has 17 taps and the quick one has 13. There is more length on the slower line as well.

Do both have good fall in elevation? If yes, I suspect the faster one has a small leak.
