If I can't find an arch I am going to be building an arch for my 3x10 Grimm raised flue pans & I was wondering what I should use for a base stack & what dia. smoke stack. In the catalogs there are many different types of base stacks for a 3' arch & I'm not sure what I need.
Thanks,Ryan

We have an older 3x10 and the stack is 12" in diameter.

Ryan,
I also have a 12 inch dia stack on our 3 x 10. Works well. But just to give you something to ponder the 4 x 10 that I saw at oak lodge is a Leader and I think someone said the stack was 20 or 21 inches. Huge. But they are boiling twice as much sap as we do also.
Chris
4' arch is typically 18" stack

Probably going to suck twice as much heat up the stack also.
