Clear taps

This year I used clear taps vs black taps last year. I have to say it is really nice to be able to see into the tap especially in the case of correctly seating a tap. A couple times this year I have seen some bubbles entering at the tap and was able to reseat it to correct the leak. I think I will stay with these in the future.

It is nice to see the sap. I like any tap that isn't black. I think the lighter the color the better.
