Concentrate tank inside RO room or outside?

My concentrate tank is in my woodshed where it's shaded and cool.

My concentrate tank has always been on a platform just on the outside of the sugarhouse and on the north side. That helps keep it cooler.

Ok... sounds like better to leave concentrate tank outside rather than inside in a heated ro room

The warmer it is the quicker the concentrate will spoil. Keeping the tank outside in a shaded area is your best choice. My woodshed is on the north side of my sugar house that's why I put my tank there.

As of right now our concentrate is above the RO room. We boil shortly after starting to concentrate. If our quantity of sap were to increase dramatically or the need to RO one day and boil the next became necessary we could put a tank on the north side of the sugarhouse.

No doubt the cooler it is the longer it will store.
