The float box on my pans has an 1-1/8” OD inlet stub, a very odd size. I tried warming 1” hose and jamming it over the stub but that didn’t work. I’m not able to find 1-1/8 or 1-1/4 hose locally. I’m wondering if anybody has any ideas or if there’s an online hose emporium that I have yet to discover. Thank you. I appreciate the work that everyone puts in to make this a fun and useful site.

In my area there are a few businesses that support dairy farms. They usually have 1 1/8" and 1 3/8" food grade flexible reinforced hose. Hopefully there is a store like that in your area. Otherwise, try Bascom.

Home depot or Lowes has a bunch of different rubber adapters with clamps and each end, Might be able to match what you got, they are pretty flexable and can fit a range of sizes.
