For the last 15 years we have been batch cooking sap in a 2'x4' flat pan on a cooker my son welded together. It works ok and the price was right but he wants to make a new one. We put out about 110 taps and make @ 12 gallons a season. IDK that we want to continuous boil or to have to get new pans for a different cooker. There are a few things he wants to do better like the doors, ash pan, accommodation for insulation etc. Does anyone here have a set of plans we could get a copy of or know of a place where we can get plans for a decent hobby cooker? Thanks in advance for any help/advice you can offer.

Search Davey Jones he has excellent plans. I used them and loved them.
