We just bought our 2" Tigerflex BW from www.go2marine.com, they had the best prices I could find, and free shipping on up to 40 feet of 2"

Amazon. I’m not positive but the BT series may be what you want. It is food grade, not sure about the others.

Tiger flex makes many different types (https://products.kuriyama.com/category/food-grade-10)of hoses for a number of different applications.

Tiger flex is just a name brand of the broader search term of "flexible PVC pipe". (https://flexpvc.com/Guides/FlexHose.shtml)

You want to make sure you get food grade hose (tigerflex makes both food and industrial grade hose). Industrial grade hose can leach all kinds of unwanted things into your sap.

I purchased a 50' length of 2" from Maple Expert Solutions. Did not compare the price with all the other suppliers though.

call Eastern Crown in Vernon NY- 315-829-5311, they have spiralite hose used for dairy 3/4 inch up to 4 inch, i believe they supply hose to bascoms from what they have told me. great guys to deal with, they can get good deals on hot syrup hose too (transflow milk hose). i think the spiralite goes on to fittings a bit easier than tigerflex, but same style hose.
also have had good luck at Runnings.

Tigerflex BW (blue water) series is not food grade. WT and FT series are both food grade. Check out JM Ellsworth Co. They have a large selection of FDA approved hose, tubing and fittings.

This is what I use https://www.easterncrowninc.com/pdf/milkhose.pdf The Spirolite hose
You would need to call for the price.

Guys what is the trick for getting fittings on these hoses? I have tried heating it a little even some dish soap on the ends and I am lucky to get two barbs of any fitting in the tube

i think a tubing tool might be necessary? i heated it, used food grade grease and had to pound it onto the fitting. it worked (not well) on 1" but i couldn't get 1 1/4" to go on more than 2 or 3 barbs! it sucks too cuz it's a good product where you need the hose to flex!

The best $15 I spent is on an electric teakettle at Wally world. Boils water in no time, put the end of the hose in for a few seconds and the hose slides right on easy.

A little bit of heat and we had no issues getting the 1" line on banjo camlock fittings. Love the tigerflex hose!
