I have an opportunity to get a bunch of mainline for free from a sugarmaker going out of business. Some of the mainline is only 3 years old. Is it worth trying to do this. If it is are there any tips on getting it out easily or advice from anyone who has done this.

Thanks

I'v done this. If not on vacuum, just cover saddle holes with electrical tape.

There are also a variety of saddle plugs available.

I take my mainline down every year. Just disconnect and roll it up wire and all. When it gets to be a little unruly, I put a bungee around it and keep going then bungee again when it gets hard to hold together. CDL actually sells pre-wired mainline now, so it's not as crazy or as bad as it seems.
