New evaporator

This past spring, (March 2018) me and my wife went to the Boston area and went up into New Hampshire touring some sugar shacks and had a great time. We also visited Chris and his wife at the Maple Guys and looked at some new equipment. Well this past November we bought a new Lapierre Storm 2X8 evaporator from them. I’ve got it hooked up and ready for sap. It’s a bit more complicated than my my homemade 2x8 evaporator I’ve been using for several years.

Awesome looking rig! You will love it! Great looking sugarhouse too! Just remember it will boil much faster. Keep a eye on the pan levels and keep sap in there.
