I think I do. This is what I used. We reclaimed it in a remodel job and it was in awesome condition. Stainless inner sleeve and galvanized exterior.

I have limited room for my stack. Trying to keep it safe at the roof penetration off combustible .

I just went with metalbestos from Menards. Paid like $65 section (3’) for Class A Stainless. My stove pipe is 6” inside diameter 8” outside and rated for 2” clearance. Went with 4 section plus my base stack and I’m close to 18’ total.

I have 8’ of 8” I.D. On hand. I need about 4-5 more feet. I’ve never tried using it for my stack in the past we always used 8” single wall. 12’
I’ve done some renovations to the sugarhouse and I think I need a better rated option
I just haven’t seen any metalbestos on sugar rigs

I’ve been using 8” metalbestos for two years now. Works great.

For the last two years we used metalbestos for our 2x6 due to the clearance in a very old shack. It worked well. We bought a stainless steel stack piece from the evaporator to the 10" metalbestos. We used a thermometer in the adaptor to check the stack temps. We never brought ours to the rated highs of the metalbestos.

Thank you for all the replies. I’m 4’ short if desired length. I’ll just have to pick up one more piece.
