Still a lot of plumbing to do and my stack from Smoky lake is coming soon, hope to move the evaporator in this week. Did pine tongue and groove walls and ceiling in the evaporator room and polymax panels in the ro room.1912119122191231912019119

Lookin good Mark, it's been a good winter [so far] to get stuff done. Except for the mud at times. None today though....

I agree Mike, been fighting mud the last 6 months! Had a good opportunity to move some tanks while the ground had a crust enough to support the loader but still breakable to dig, the small tank behind the sugarhouse is my feed tank for the evaporator and is set on posts I augered hopes for and then bolted the other side to the sugarhouse so it won't move with the frost

Looks good. I wish I was half as far (roof on) as you are.

Also upgrading the ro, started as a cdl hobby 250, I had added a third membrane years ago, now removing all three 4" membrane and going to a single 8" membrane which should be a big improvement

I like the Red Roof. Also like how its built into the Bank, that's old school my Great Grandfather's shack was built the same way . Very effective the only time the sap was ever pumped was 1 time from the woods tank to the truck, gravity did the rest.

Very nice sugarhouse! You have put a lot of time effort and thought into this building! Hope you enjoy it for a long time! Looking forward to seeing steam coming out that cupola too!

Chris

Very nicely done. That's gonna be fun to get fired up and get into the Grove of running everything.

I like the tractor too.

Being built into the bank was done for two reasons, gravity for sap but also easier to keep the ro room from freezing and also have all the walls concrete to be washable.

Marc, the set up looks great. You've really expanded since I've been up there. I took two years off and back at it this year. I got side tracked and scorched my syrup pan today... grrr. I had about two gallons of finished syrup. I'm such a knucklehead. Oh well, back at it tomorrow when things cool down, see if I can't fix it with a little vinegar and steel wool
