I have a customer who who is Kosher certified and is looking for a Kosher certificate from me. Is there anyone here who is Kosher certified or knows what is involved in the process?

This customer is on my bulk side of my business and I typically repackage drums from other larger producers for those customers. I know that some large bulk buyers like Bascoms have Kosher certification and they buy bulk syrup from other producers that are not Kosher certified so I'm not sure how it works. Any input would be appreciated.

If you have not done so as of yet, contact a local Rabbi, they should be able to guide you in the right direction. When I worked at Welchs Grape, we had Rabbi's that came in to oversee kosher grape juice. They had their own designated tank that they alone would seal and unseal.

Years ago I sold some bulk syrup to a bakery. They sent a Rabbi over and he blessed my crop. A couple of chants and he was out the door. It was only good for that years crop.
