Drop flue pan.

I run a leader 2x3 half pint. Planning to build an extension and a drop tube pan. I am running 150 taps, mostly soft maple, and they are smaller trees. I have an option to pick up another 40 taps on sugar maple. I have a 150 gpd RO . Trying to decide whether to build a 2' or a 3' extension and drop pan. How much will the 2' or 3' increase my evaporation. I do not have a hood. May add if time allows.

Leader advertises a 65% increase with their extension kit using the 2X3 supreme pan on the extension. I think that may be a bit conservative.
I run a halfpint standard pan and am thinking of upgrading to the supreme pan in it's place.
