I saw that Wendy's was promoting this in their commercials during the football games yesterday for their limited time bacon maple chicken sandwich. The problem is I cant tell from their website if there is any real maple syrup in it, just that it has a maple glaze.

Maple syrup is on the list of ingredients. Not sure how much, but there is some REAL maple syrup. I like to try things with "maple" in them, so stopped in at Wendy's last week and tried it. Was OK...not real mapley. Maple came through as just a hint of an after-taste. Wasn't bad, but I'm not in a great rush to go back for another.

I'll have to celebrate by putting some maple syrup on my ice cream tonight.

A day late, but had some really nice pure maple syrup on my French Toast this morning.

Also a day late too, but I has some bourbon barrel aged maple syrup on vanilla ice cream tonight (last night too) but it is really an occasional treat for me. I just bottled my latest batch and had to "test" it. 16 gal of heaven.

You have piqued my interest in the bourbon maple syrup. What length of time do you put the syrup in the barrels? How do you keep it from getting mold?
Thank you in advance for any information.

Search it out in my other posts. This is not the place to explain it. Later today I will find an explanation and put a link here.

I've been using " it" in my tea and coffee a lot more in the last 6 months. There is always an open pint in the office refrigerator that is free to share. On Monday I brought in pancakes for everyone in our 6 person office.
