Can anyone tell me what your PH level is when your RO is cleaned? I know pure water is somewhere about 7.0, should that also be the goal im shooting for when cleaning and making sure my RO is cleaned? I just got new PH strips and I want to make sure I am cleaning it properly.

Thanks!

Check the ph of your permeate before you start cleaning your RO. You should get the same ph from the final rinse water when you are done cleaning. If I remember correctly mine is about 6.5ph.

Why not ask NextGen, they made the RO.

I assumed it was a standard PH level, 1 RO being cleaned should be the same as any RO, a Dow Membrane regardless of what manufacturer built the metal around it should require the same cleaning level. that beinbg said, I will be stopping by NextGen tomorrow. Coming fishing your way Dave, the Salmon river is calling me :-)

Rinse water should come out as clean as it goes in
