I have a set of waterloo pans and they have the copper slip fittings to connect pans and float boxes. I want to get a couple new front pans. Has anyone out there retro fitted a set of pans like this?

Thru Brewer's Hardware you can get an adapter to convert to the newer SS Tri Clover fittings. Just make sure you know if the new pans will have 1.5" or 2" or another size so you match up. You will likely want to connect the old method then an elbow then the adapter so it is closer to the rig. The new pans can then be made to match up. Or if you have a good welder who does SS near you, the adapter can be welded to the old flue pan and then it will all be new style.
In either case the new pan needs to be made to match up so they will need some measurements from you.

Best thing you can do is take the sap/flue pan to whomever you decide to have make your syrup pans. Then there will be no doubt that it will fit together nicely.
