hi there. I have a CDL propane finisher and the holes for the gas are starting to corrode shut. Is there an easy way to clean the unit?

I'm sure I can poke each one individually with a tiny brush or use a compressor to blow air inside. Does anyone have any good tricks?

thanks in advance. Colton

I know on our tourch set we have little wire files that clean the holes on the tip of the tourch. So what I'm trying to say is can the small round jeweler files work for this purpose.

I had the same problem with the burner on my canner. I used a drill bit the same size as the holes in the burner in my cordless drill. It worked great and was quick and easy.

The correct size drill bit , chucked in a drill motor and running is the only way I've ever done it. A friend who was a propane service tech for a local propane supplier showed me that. It does not take very long, but you need to be systematic to be sure not to miss any.

Thanks everyone. The drill bit was the winner. Found the right size and drilled out each hole. Pretty surprised at how clogged some of them were. Runs like new again.

They should be cleaned every summer.
