Looks like you can't get much farther north without going into Quebec.

Not much. :). Maybe a 7 mile drive to Canada from here, or a 2 mile boat ride (or swim). Our view out over the lake looks due North into Canada.

Moved to our house in Newport full-time when my wife retired in May. Figured since I was here, I’d do some local presentations. Started sugaring as a kid in my grandfathers operation not too far from here about 50 yrs ago. Buckets and wood.

Pick & Shovel is the kind of place where if you can’t find it in the store (other than groceries), you probably don’t really need it.
