I'm switching to oil for 2019. It will be a Carlin 102. If I run the line overhead from the tank to the burner, do I need a Tigerloop (oil deaerator)? I guess the concern is bubbles and air in the line causing burner trouble.

I run a 5x14 with two burners and I have a tiger loop for each burner takes the air out and also allows me to not run a return line all the way back to the feed tank

Thanks. In my research I found that oil lines that run overhead and then down to the burner should use a deaerator. Like you say, it allows a 2 line benefit without running a line back to the tank. I guess it can't hurt to install it.
