Leader 2x6 wse

Can anyone tell me what the standard stack size is on a leader 2 x 6 WSE evaporator is? I just purchased one and it has a 10 inch pipe on it. Is that normal?

Yes that is the normal size stack for that evaporator.

Yes, that is good. back when I had a 2x6 it had a 7" stack and drew well, but I had 17' of stack on it, because my walls are 10' and my trusses add more feet then I had the prescribed ' above the roof. If I only had the basic 12' (2x the length) it may not have drawn well. Even back then most 2x6's came with a 8-9 or 10" stack.

Yeah my wse I bought used had 7 inch stack on it. I believe it is original.

This was our last year on our 2x6 WSE and we ran a 10" stack. We use the SS screen in the bottom to cut down on embers. We used the base stack and a short transition piece to go to metalbestos for 15 of so feet total height. Good draft.
