Using Flushed Acid

As I was flushing out the acid from the membrane, I wondered if I could have sent the discharge to the pans for scale removal. Has anyone tried that?

I did this year. Had not tried it before.

How did it go? Are you letting them soak?

I let it soak for a few days. Once there was enough in my pans (3x12) it was pretty diluted pH 5. So I ended up adding some liquid pan cleaner.
