Watching g the weather while we're having our early morning coffee. Got below 32 last night,so Ron has sap in the remains bucket to boil. Will be cold tonight and then a warm up. To wean him off the shock of no more syrup,I will begin weaning him into some house projects. Ordered 4 Apple trees for his birthday. They should arrive Friday. It was a good time while it lasted. To those still going,have fun.

Man, I'm kinda jealous of you guys with your seasons already complete. Haven't gotten more than 20 gallons of sap yet in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Still 1-2 feet of snow on the ground and far-below average temperatures for the past several weeks. AND they're predicting another snow storm this weekend. Maybe we'll get a run before Memorial Day ;)
