Hi folks..located in eastern Ontario in the Rideau Lakes heartland....lot of small hobby producers here and a few really big operations...this was my third year making syrup on a very basic system not too far removed from hot rocks in a hollowed out log, LOL but pretty basic...I am in the process of building a proper evaporator for next season and will probably run about 60-80 taps...its been great fun and a wonderful learning curve that is ongoing....thank you for accepting me to this site and hope to connect with you and learn...Cheers

Since you have made syrup for 3 seasons now, It's too late to warn you that there is no cure for this addiction and the only therapy is to tap more trees.
