Hey guys I'm in the process of putting together a ro system and was wondering where you guys have your high pressure switches plumbed in at. Do you plumb it before the membrane housing? Or do you plumb it in on the outlet side of the membrane? Is there pros or cons to either way?

Before the membrane. There will be a pressure drop as the sap passes through the membrane. And more so if you have the membranes in series.
pressure readings should be taken between the high pressure pump and the membrane.
Low pressure switch can be installed anywhere before high pressure pump. I have mine installed between the low pressure feed pump and the pre filter.

What about a high temp shut down? Where should I plumb in the thermocouple?

When I added one to my older ro I put it in a T between feed pump and filters.
