Hey all
I have a few motors that I salvaged from a hottub and I was wondering if they could be used to power a procon pump? They had been used to power the jets on the hottub. What am I looking for to know if they can do the job?

More information on the motors would be needed before anyone can help you. Pictures of the motor tags or plate would help.

Needs to be a 56C style motor with bolt on face plate. 1700rpm and 5/8” shaft. Then 3/4 to 1.5 hp depending on pump size.

Well off the top of my head I know they are 3400 rpm. So I'm guessing that will be too much for a procon. Ill try to get the rest of the info tomorrow.
