Hey all,
We are doing small scale sales this year I'm sure people will ask how long it will keep. We bottled with Sugar Hill bottles at 185*.
Thanks,

Thanks,
I have a couple quarts left in sealed mason jars from 2016, perfectly fine still. Once opened though, get it to the refrigerator.

In glass containers, shelf life is long if kept in a cool place like a basement. With plastic, it will start to darken after a few months if left on a shelf, but it can last much longer without darkening if stored in a freezer.

I tell my customers 6 months in a cool cellar or 2 years minimum in a freezer. At my sugarhouse my packaged syrup is all kept in one of 2 freezers I have at the sugarhouse. They are ones you sometimes see in mom & pop stores or other grocery stores with a name on them, like Cool Whip or Kraft. I bought them at a yard sale, 2 for $25. They have worked well for 5-6 years. I keep my eyes open for a spare or two for when these quit. If necessary I may need to buy a small-medium sized one or 2 if these quit. Mine have sliding glass top doors, then I have some 3" rigid foam cover that.
Once opened it needs to be in a refrigerator.
