Any one know about the max length of mainline a shurflo can handle? I have a small sugar bush maybe 150-200 taps with around 4-500 ft of 3/4. Fairy flat. Would a shurflo handle that amount of tubing?

I have one that long with about 120 taps on and works good.

The more pipe the more reserve volume.

Handle that no problem.

I have 350 feet of 3/4 with 140 taps, you have to check for leaks due to low cfm. Works good, way better than buckets.
From what I hear from others, you probably won't get high vacuum with that many taps. High teens maybe. But much better than no vacuum at all.

I have 500' of 3/4 mainline with 200 taps on a shurflo 4048. Drawing 20 inches all day . There is about a 5 to 7 degree slope which helps .

I have about the same slope and use a surflo 4048 also I,m just wondering about what length are your 3/16 tubing runs into the mainline. I have 283 on one 4048 and I know that's pushing it but so far it seems to holding its own but no real sap runs yet. But I do have another with just 109 on it and that's where I,m thinking I could use a mainline and maybe a combination of the 2 just thinking about next year

I ran 270 taps into a 2088 which is a smaller pump last year. Had no problem and as long as there were zero leaks I was pulling 18-20".
Some of my 3/16 laterals are 1000 feet long with 25 taps.

I run an Everflow 3.3 gpm (from Rural King) 12 v pump on 1400' of 3/4" 250 taps on 3/16- works great!
