My brother in Wyoming has been selling a bunch of syrup out there for me. We're looking at shipping 100 or so quarts and some pints out. Leaning toward Fastenal as they ship terminal to terminal, but was curious if others have a method they've tried?

Eventually I'll probably set him up with a finish rig and he can bottle it so I'll ship cans or small drums, but for now we need to get packaged syrup there safely.

I've shipped all kinds of pallets with both drums and case boxes. For the drums I buy a ratchet strap and put it around all the drums. Make sure the drums are all labelled. For the case boxes I just stack them up and wrap the boxes with plastic wrap. For shipping, I use Freight Center and usually get good quotes. I usually tell my rep that I will drop the pallet off at the terminal to avoid a truck having to come to me due to the tight turns it would have to make. I also save a lift gate fee.
