How to sanitize and store filters

Hey all,

We finished our season this week and wrapping everything up. What is the best way to sanatize and store prefilters and final filters during the off season?

Rinse, rinse, rinse and then rinse some more. Just hot water. Get them bone dry, then fold and put in a gallon size ziplock bag.

If at all possible, store them in the same manner as they are used. Flat filters flat and cone filters in a cone shape. That way they are not getting any extra creases in them.

I rinse them out with Hot water using a hose and garden nozzle. I then boil them and rinse with the hose again. I then hang them to dry on a clothes line in the sun for hours until I'm sure they are completely dry. I then store them in sealed plastic bags.
