I just purchased the Atlas Copco 150. Started it up and ran it yesterday, not hooked up to the lines. Quite a bit of oil was coming out in mist. I know when I hook it up to the lines it will reduce the amount of oil coming out. Just wondering what other people are using to control this some. I plan on putting an exhaust on it today when I hook it up.

Once your hooked up to lines there shouldn’t be any oil mist.

nitrile seals are $84 a piece and there are 2 of them. Make sure you run the 100% synthetic oil and hook up the moisture trap to shut down on sap infiltration DO NOT RELY on the ball to float up and stop the sap. I'm into mine 300 and not done on rebuild.

Its an awesome pump dont get me wrong but since it is European made everything is metric.

once the vacuum is made no more oil or very little will come out. I was thinking about some kind of oil reclaimer.18303

i have a gv 60 my friend has a gv45. last yr he had had sap suck into pump. he had moisture trap hooked up to vfd and everything. after that dilemma clayton said the now put a normally closed solinod vale in the line between the moisture trap and pump. no as soon as moisture trap sense moisture the solinod valve slams shut.
