Just wondering who out there is boiling on a sunrise and how they like it? They look nice but I never see much for videos or pictures out there of them running. And I have never seen their double Firebox rig in use?

This is my second year with a Sunrise JDL Extreme 2x6 with hood , preheater and blower. We really like the evaporator a lot! We average about 45 to 50 gallons an hour and we could do a little better with drier wood and more consistent firing. I really don't think there is anything I would change about it. If you check you tube, there are a couple videos by Jamie Jones that are good on the sunrise.

I have seen them, I would love for him to do a follow up! Did you find the cost was comparable to the other major companies.
I have still wanted to hear from somebody who has the double fire Box arch. Or something larger than a 2 by 6.

Also what % are you putting into the evaporator?
Second year on a 2x8 with blower no preheat just hood... very happy... 50-55 gph.... I’ve done 60 pushing it...Only thing I’d do different is maybe go bigger.
