Unfortunately the only power we have at our camp is a generator. I was looking at a leader micro II and was wondering what size generator should i purchase in order to use it. Currently using honda 2000i for lights. Im sure that cant handle the RO. Thanks for the help guys!

Catalog says 10 amps doesn't say volts. Need both to size generator.
Volts x amps = watts which is what generators are sized for. I think it is a 110 volt unit. so you would need 1100 watts for the R/O or 2200 watts if it is a 220 volt unit. Do the math for all electric stuff in Sugarhouse and future and add together to get total watts needed. Go next size up.

Once you add up all of the loads that will be on at the same time, the bare minimum you need is one who's surge amps at the required volts is at least 50% more than that number. Start up is real hard on equipment with a generator that is marginally sized. If the start up surge approaches the generator's surge max, the equipment is starved for power, that is the hardest on the electric motor. Get the specs on the RO both amps and volts and we can help.
When I was using a generator, I sized them so the max start up amps was still in the stated running amps, for my purposes the surge generator capacity was just an extra reserve.
