tank drains freezing

I have a couple of the poly storage tanks with drains on the bottom. Does anyone have any ideas how to prevent them from freezing? I do not have electric available to them so can not use heat tape.

When I use to use them in the field, I always had to make sure they were empty. The sap gets in and around the ball valve inside and freezes. I use one for my RO perm water and make sure it is emptied out every night.

I would think you could get some Styrofoam panels and make a wall around them and tarp over them. Can you get a cement blanket to cover entire tote. keeping the valve as warm as the water in the tank is the goal.
