Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum but have been sugaring for about 7 years. I'm starting to build a reverse osmosis unit for our operation. For background I have anywhere from 75 - 90 taps out in a given year but would like to expand and I collect anywhere from 80-130 gallons of sap per day during the season. I have a wood burning 2' x 5' homemade evaporator that boils about 25 gallons an hour.
I have a 190gph procon pump (model 104E190F11BA) that I picked up from my work. I'm looking for a little guidance as to what motor I should pair it with and how many membranes I should consider running off this setup. I've been doing some research but I'm also very new to reverse osmosis so any help would be very much appreciated.

This diagram will help you out.
I got a great deal on the stainless fittings but they were made in china.
I had lots of leaks just using pipe dope.
I had to tear the whole thing apart and use teflon tape on the pipe threads.

I was just looking at that duda energy hp tubing and noticed on their website that it's only rated for 200 psi. Have you had any problems? Also are you just using barbed fittings and hose clamps? Great parts list thanks! Looking to build one myself.

No problems with the duda tubing so far. I have ran my ro up to 230 psi and no problem with the hose.
For the barbed fittings i used food grade pvc barbed fittings from the supplyhouse web site and std. screw type hose clamps.
the tubing has to be warmed in hot water before trying to push it on the fittings, a very tight fit.
