Please report here when you tap, boil, and pull taps in the Northeastern Lower Peninsula. Also, please put the latitude of your sugar bush in your signature line so we can track the season. This has been helpful in the past for those who only have a short tapping window due to traveling to their sugarbush from homes far away. Thanks.
Although the season appeared to be starting very early this year and there have been some brief runs, the weather has turned cold again for prolonged periods each time. It is definitely not too late to tap here. I will be tapping a new tubing run today, but I don't expect flows before 3/9/18 on this run.
