How long can I keep my flu sweet before it can go bad? 7 days , 10 days? I drain it off and put it back to maintain a sweet pan and gradient. The sweet is probably no warmer than 45 degrees. I see some weather which may not allow me to boil for some time. Can I bring it to a boil every so many days to keep it good? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

I have always just left if in the pan as long as it stays cool in your building it should be fine, it doesn't hurt for sure to bring it to a boil every 4-5 days, make sure the sap in your cold float box gets boiled good, that's where any bacterial growth is most likely going to start, that can turn your syrup Ropey.
