max flue pan with regular steamaway, not enhanced.

Been running a non enhanced steamaway on a max flue pan. Anybody done this and not had steam pressure build under it? It seams to want to blow out the float box sometimes. Any tricks to blow off some steam somewhere? Previous owner had been using it for 7 years since he got it new and I think it worked for him.

plumb a tee on your condensate drain and run a vent line up, it will give it a place to breath and blow out us a ball valve on it so you can throttle it down to where it isn't blowing out in other places. . Make sure it is plumbed away from where people will be. I have seen this work on several other Steamaways.

Thanks, put a tee in but didnt get the valve on yet and seems to be fine now.
