So last year was my first with 3/16ths on gravity. LOVED IT. I made the HUGE mistake of taking my lines down. Now I am replacing taps while sitting inside, Oh what a tangled mess. I have tried to reroll on a chair back to make hanging this mess a little easier. It's not working. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am thinking of starting all over with new lines at this point

I've had the same problem and learned the hard way. I take my lines down every year. Now when I put my lines back up and unroll them, I am very careful to keep something in the middle of the roll at all times. Like an arm. There is probably a better way but at least it avoids the dreaded tangles.

I take down the lines that you can see from the road every year. What I do is start at the bottom and roll them up in a large roll until it starts to get hard to handle. Then I put on about 3 wire ties, then roll some more up and ad more ties to keep the roll in order. In the spring start at the top cut a few ties and get going on down the line.

This is how i do it. I've got about 3/4 of a mile of tubing on there. I number my trees sequentially with dog-tags and then number the runs

WOW! I did number my trees with tree tags. But that looks really good, but heavy.

no way I could get something like that to my runs. I just leave them up and repair before season, much easier for me.

WOW! I did number my trees with tree tags. But that looks really good, but heavy. It works pretty well, but the roll can walk on the frame and get a little jammed up when you're pulling it off the roll. rolling it all in is definitely a work out! Better than a pile of spaghetti in the truck to try to sort out.
