2x4 oil converted

How many gal nozzle do I need for my 2x4?? I have a 1.75 now put does not seem to get hot enough.. thanks

I think you want to be around a 2.5gph for an evap that size.

I have a 2x4 evaporator with a smokey lake drop flue hybrid pan and i have a older Grimm oil fired arch with a Beckett burner i use a 2.50 nozzle at 80 degree hollow. i also tried a 2.50 80 degree solid that worked good but had a little hard time with the very front syrup pan boiling.
