I didn't get to make syrup last year and it sucked! But this year it's even better than it ever was! I have the BEST gf and she's been right there helping me from splitting and stacking wood to collecting bucket to boiling down sap!

I finally have help and we can make maple sugar and candy and do all sorts of cool stuff!

We have boiled about 90 gallons and have about 45 gallons of sap in storage already!

Always great when you have a person going right along with you.
My wife is not overly fond of syrup or sugar or maple. However she has seen I love it and its getting me up and doing something in the spring. I used to sit around and grumble and complain until April to go fishing. So she has helped haul wood, stack wood, gather sap and boil sap. Helps me filter everything. Heck she took over for two weeks last year when I was bedridden with Flu and Strep Throat at the same time.
